Jay is the best loan broker I've ever worked with! Buying a home these days can involve so many different moving parts that are difficult to navigate through, but Jay can help you with all! We were buying fixer-uppers with potential issues that other lender/broker would simply move away from. But he helped us deal with each one of them and even the realtors were surprised at how knowledgeable and experienced he is. The closing was done in a little over a month, which is really fast considering we didn't skip any contingencies. If you're buying a freshly updated home with no issues whatsoever and you have a very comfortable budget and straightforward W2 income, sure you might find someone that costs a bit less. But if anything at all arises, you won't have the reliable knowledge base that Jay is to fall back to. I'm more than happy with my experience working with Jay and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a mortgage.
